NLETS Business Goals:
- Allow NLETS transactions to be sent/received via MQ Series messages
- Allow MQ Series NLETS transactions to be submitted/received from MQ Series backbone applications
- Provide a stable, high-performance NLETS/MQ interface
NLETS Features:
- NLETS header can be sent either within the message or via MQ header attributes
- Input and Output MQ Series queue names are configurable
- Independent send and receive processes
- Automatic reestablishment of session if current session is disrupted
- Supports multiple programs processing output responses
- Multiple output response segments are isolated to a particular process
- Destination MQ Series queue can be based on ORI and TranKey fields
- Security compliant with existing MQ Series security
- Message fragmentation can be based on Segmentation or Groups
- Separately priced gateway can interface non-MQ Series capable system to MQ Series
- Gateway runs as a service that can be set to auto initiate whenever the Windows 2000 system reboots
