  • Filters exist on both MQ Series end and TCP end
  • A Filter has visibility to both the inbound and outbound messages
  • TCP filters can reply back to the same TCP session
  • Both inbound and outbound filters are supported
  • Each Queue Server can have its own set of MQ and TCP filters
  • A wide variety of TCP interface protocols are supported
